What can users see on their dashboards?

What appears on a user’s dashboard depends on several factors:

Record access (permissions)
- Users will only ever see records they have read access to.
- This means two users looking at the same dashboard may see different data depending on their permissions.
Dashboard and widget filters
- Dashboards and widgets (e.g. charts, tables) may have filters applied.
- The records displayed will reflect these filter conditions.
User-applied filters

Users can apply additional filters on top of existing ones.
These extra filters will further impact which records appear on their dashboards and widgets.
Note: additional filters applied by a user can be cleared from the top right of the dashboard by selecting [clear filters]
