Can I update the imported records through the same CSV import?
Whether a CSV import can be changed after it is created, and up to what point
The short answer - Yes, up to a point. You can edit a CSV import as long as it has not been imported/published. Once the import is published, it is locked and can no longer be changed through that same import.
Key point: An import is editable while it is unpublished. Publishing it applies the import and closes it to further edits.
What to do
- Before it is published: open the import from the Actions column on the CSV Imports list and make your changes. You can keep adjusting it until you are happy, then publish.
- After it is published: that import is locked. To make further changes to the records, run a new CSV import or update the records another way.
