Why can't I see a tagging option on my records?
Why the Add tag option might be missing, and how to get it turned on
The short answer
Tagging is a feature that is switched off by default in every Clew environment. If you can't see an Add tag option anywhere, it most likely hasn't been enabled for your organisation yet, rather than being a problem with your account.
Why this happens
Tagging has to be turned on for your organisation before it appears anywhere in the system, across every module. This is a one-time setup step handled by Clew, not something a system administrator can switch on from within your own environment. Until it's enabled, no user, including administrators, will see the Add tag option on any record.
What to do
- Email support@clew.io to request that Tagging be enabled for your organisation.
- Once it's enabled, any user with update access to a record will see the Add tag option, and can start tagging straight away, no further setup needed on your side.
- See the Tagging article in Related Articles for how to add tags to records and how administrators can manage the tag list afterwards.
