Creating Your Report Themes as a System Administrator

Modified on Wed, 23 Jul, 2025 at 4:37 PM

Purpose

Report themes can be customised by a system administrator. The selected theme is applied to exported reports and includes a cover page, as well as customised headers and footers, if configured.

Themes can be applied to specific registers, modules, and custom types.

Step-by-Step Guide To Create a Report Theme

To create a new report theme, follow these steps:

1.    Navigate to Admin > Report Themes. When the page reloads, you will be presented with a table containing any report themes in your CGR Platform.

2.    To add a new report theme, click add. A new form will appear containing the following fields, please complete them and click save to create your theme:

  • Report Theme Title: This is the name for the report theme, and the name that will need to be selected when you choose to apply this to different dashboard templates, or other exports in the application.
  • Apply to: Under this section you can select to what areas of CGR Platform this will apply to as follows:
    •  Locations: Specific locations in the locations list.
    • Registers: Specific registers in the main register list. This one allows for very detailed control for report exports for different organisational registers.
    • Modules: Specific modules to have the new report theme.
    • Custom Types: Specific module types, for example, under the Risks module you may want to have a different report theme for Risks and another for Opportunity custom types.

Important Note: Custom types take priority over modules, and modules take priority over registers. Any selections made here will override other applicable themes.
